New Books and ARCs, 7/30/21

If we have to come to the end of July, at least we have this lovely stack of new books and ARCs to send it off. What here would you like to take with you into the dog days of August? Share in the comments.

  1. Excited to see the Josiah Bancroft on top of the stack – I had thought that the Babel trilogy had kept itself down to three books.

  2. Right now I’d like to take a dog. Too tired to choose. Meh, Saltwise Sea maybe.

  3. Weird Kid. Because I read the first chapter & it has distinct Daniel Pinkwater vibes.
Other than that, still trying to work through the 25+ books on my tbr shelf.
(I was going to add Blood of the Chosen because at first glance I thought it said Blood of the Chicken, but apparently not.)

  4. The Fall of Babel!!! I really enjoyed the first three and have been waiting eagerly for this one :)

  5. Just curious. What do you do with all the ARCs you get? (No, I am not subtly asking to get them!)

  6. The new Django Wexler. Some of the new books in your pile don’t look strictly F&SF. Nothing wrong with that, they do go into the “One of these things is not like the others” category.
