  1. Caitlin Starling’s The Luminous Dead from a couple of years ago was fun, very atmospheric and only had like 2 onscreen characters. I’m looking forward to The Death of Jane Lawrence. (the book, I mean)

  2. bethovermyer – Beth Overmyer is the author of several works of genre fiction, the fantasy trilogy THE GOBLETS IMMORTAL being among them. Fueled by tea, loved by cats everywhere, she balances her home life with writing novels and leading a creative writing group at her local library.

They all look so good! Jekyll & Hyde Inc. caught my eye first, so that would be my pick.

  3. Evidently TO BOLDLY GO’s ufll title is “To Boldly Go: Leadership, Strategy, and Conflict in the 21st Century and Beyond” — in other words, another variant on the tired “how to lead like Star Trek captains do” theme. Disappointing.

  4. you sexy thing. not a comment about John. just thought that might make an interesting read, especially with the author’s name. CAT RAMBO is the name of my new punk R&B band.

  5. Well, that’s quite the stack. Two things stand out, one, possibly the weirdest title we will ever see for a 16xx book (I can’t believe that series is still going and growing out in ever odder directions) and a new Simon R Green, which you just know is going to be absurdly over the top and probably fun, because that’s what Green does.
