A new book by Seanan/Mira?! Oh hells yeah, I’m in!
Mira Grant!!
The top one and the bottom one — I don’t recognize any of the others without more info except for Chuck Tingle and I usually don’t find his stuff to be to my taste (the title of that one does make me think it might be an outlier though…)
Well, I have to go with Phil’s book. If I didn’t, I’d never hear the end of it. ๐
The Phil Plait one sounds right up my alley…
Chuck Tingle!
@Chuk
According to what I’ve read, his book isn’t a “Tingler” at all. It’s a straightforward horror novel.
Under Alien Skies
Gareth Hanrahan, the former Traveller writer! Glad to see him making it as a full-time writer!
Wings Once Cursed and Bound
Under Alien Skies
I love me some Seanan Maguire, and Mira Grant is her horror pen name, so I would LOVE to read that. The Sword Defiant sounds promising; would a defiant sword refuse to attack people if it weren’t a just cause? A pacifist sword? And Under Alien Skies has been written by someone who figures their PhD is relevant to his writing it, so it must be Scholarly. Being of a scholarly bent, but no longer scholaring, that would also interest me.
Definitely Phil Plaitt
Haven’t read any of the books Seanan McGuire has written as Mira Grant but I plan to someday
The Sword Defiant sounds interesting, so I pre-ordered it
Phil’s been talking about his new book on his blog for some time, and I’m very tempted. Chuck Tingle also intrigues me, but a lot of new (to me) authors I have trouble shelling out double digits for an e-book; maybe for an upcoming trip. I’ll see if someone in my library system has picked up the Mira Grant, as she sells well.
Dumb question: previously I had been seeing my posts appear almost immediately. Now there is a delay; have you had to go to a vetting system of some type?
Hmmm… ๐ค
But yes, I am heartened by the kind attention to my book. ๐
